​The Beriffe Lodge were honoured to have a visit from  R.W.Bro Terence D. Sheern Provincial Grand Master  at their meeting on the 10th of October, the Prov.G.M  made it to the meeting after a 3 hour journey, but several of his officers were unable to attend due to the problems on the A12 which was a shame as they missed an excellent meeting in which Bro Jeffrey Cripps was Advanced to the degree of Mark Master Mason by the Worshipful Master W.Bro Bob Crow ably assisted by his officers.

​Worshipful Brother Paul Firmin was asked to show the candidate the signs,but after being escorted to the centre of the Lodge he then called upon the Prov.G.M to do the work, which he did in his usual excellent manner, the next item on the agenda was to present a Grand Lodge certificate to Bro Philip Chapman, it was lucky the Prov.G.Sec. had arrived be it 45 min late with the said certificate, after this the Prov.G.M presented a 50 year certificate to W.Bro Richard Relf in a very informal manner as W.Bro Relf is the current Junior Deacon, the Prov.G.M came and sat alongside him, when between them we had a resume of Richards masonic career along with that of his family, after this informal presentation the Prov.G.M made a field promotion to him to the rank of Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden.

At the festive board the usual toast were taken and honoured before we all departed in peace and harmony.
